Entourage and surroundings are beautiful. Impressive building, only the rooms are mostly in the annex, that is less beautiful and difficult to reach
Location of the rooms
Atmospheric and beautiful garden. Super organized. Price / quality is excellent! Value for money
Little interesting places/attractions in the immediate vicinity. Car is a must.
Spacious room, wonderful hotel, beautiful location and surroundings.
The receptionist was not very flexible and customer-friendly.
The location is breathtaking.
Eloise, the front desk employee ''welcomed'' us very unfriendly and unprofessional. That was a disappointment from the start. Afterwards it turned out that the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Warm welcome, Clean and well-kept establishment, easy access by car, the park around the establishment is magnificent. The building is typically English and wonderfully decorated. Our stay really relaxed us
Our stay was confortable and relaxing. We will be returning.
Taps were faulty and the floor above our room creaked.
Food was excellent, staff very friendly and hotel was not overcrowded. I will definitely come back.
i thought it was great place lovely food. unfortunatly hat to leave earlyer than wanted as my mother was taken into hospital. but lokking forward to booking again and using the facillites. eg spa etc.
Fantastic setting ,great interiors and facilities. The grounds and services were ,for the price this was a fantastic break.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and were upgraded to a better room- lovely. The hotel is like a small country castle- quite romantic with beautifull grounds.
everything was good
the hotel is a beautifully old building well maintained, rooms nice and good gym, swim and jacuzzi. breakfast lovely!
Staff queried our half board booking three times and tried to charge us double at final bill, had to show confirmation again made me feel like I shouldnt have got a good deal from Booked.net. Food was disapointing too as our expectations were high, maybe we had off weekend there were lots of other organisations going on big wedding ect. so also there was only 1 bar open.
Attended a meeting, visited s.s.Great Britain, visited Tyntesfield House and visited Laycock village
The lifts to our room on the third storey were out of order all the time we were there.
The staff were friendly and the rooms were perfect. The setting was absolutely beautiful and the food was excellent.
Other guests woke us up by banging the fire doors when they themselves came to their rooms.
The walk around the grounds in the morning sun, and the choice of where to have breakfast was fantastic.
Have stayed at Tortworth several times. Good Value & Location for surrounding Area. Have also stayede on route to Southampton to join cruise. Food good.
